There once was a city known for its lush vegetation and greenery, rightfully dubbed “The Garden City”. A talk of the nation, to which people travelled from far and near to visit, trade and settle.
But, that city seems long gone, replaced by another city, created out of the actions and inactions of you and I.
This new city has one distinct, unmissable feature that follows you everywhere – soot.
A flaky, black, powdery particle that hovers over the city’s atmosphere and settles at random.
However, it didn’t just magically appear, it’s the result of decades of illegal oil bunkering, fracking and other unsanctioned crude oil related activities.
First observed in the last quarter of 2016, the gloom over Soot City has only grown thicker, as the residents have become sicker.
